It’s that time of the year again ! Our annual Cherry picking at Brentwood,CA.
I look forward to this more than my kids! Not sure if it is the fun of picking ripe red cherries of a tree rather than buying a box at a store or getting to taste so much of cherries(that the tongue turns red) in a quest to find the best tree or spending good old fashioned quality time with the kids!
I think second week of May was a little early for cherry picking. Many trees were not yet ready! May be we were not smart after all trying to get a head start to avoid the Memorial day traffic! But, was fun searching around to find that perfect tree with the biggest, darkest, juiciest cherries!
As the name specifies this recipe has just 3 ingredients and some sugar (to make it more palatable). A great summer drink for kids!
-My cherries were plump and fat , so I used only 8. If you have small ones then go with 10.
-Feel free to adjust sugar based on the sweetness of the cherries.
