Halloween Clementines

Adorable Halloween Clementines are super easy and fun to make with kids. They make an impressive homemade Halloween treat for trick-or-treaters and school Halloween parties. Who knew fruit could be this much fun?

Instructions

  • Rinse clementines and towel dry very well to remove all moisture and remove any attached stem ends. 
  • Melt chocolate chips in microwave, until smooth and melted. Transfer about a tablespoon into a small bowl and then remaining into a small piping bag or zip lock bag and snip off the corner.
  • Using the toothpick, place a small dab of melted chocolate on the back of candy eye balls and stick two eyes on each clementine to make a face (refer pictures if needed).
  • Make hats - Using the piping bag, squeeze some melted chocolate in the middle of an Oreo and gently place a Hershey's Kiss on top, pressing slightly so that the excess chocolate comes around the edges, to make a decorative pattern.
    Squeeze more melted chocolate on top of the Clementine and press the Oero hat, on top, pressing gently to adhere.
  • Repeat the process to make the remaining clementines.
