Raw Chocolate Salami is the healthiest treat you'll eat! Made with 4 wholesome ingredients like dates, cocoa powder, nuts, and coconut oil, it is my favorite go-to snack to store in the fridge. There is no cooking involved!
½cup mixed raw nuts I used almonds, cashews and pistachios
⅛teaspoonsalt
Instructions
Into a food processor, place dates, cocoa powder and melted coconut oil.Tip: Ensure the coconut oil is melted but not hot. This facilitates easier blending of the dates and allows them to absorb the oil without being greasy.
Process for about 30 seconds, scrape down the sides of the processor, and continue processing for an additional 1 minute until it becomes very smooth.
Transfer mixture into a medium bowl, add nuts and salt. Stir until evenly combined. Tip: Since almonds are much harder than the other nuts, I prefer giving them a rough chop before mixing. This ensures a more uniform distribution and makes slicing easier.
Transfer the mixture onto a work surface and shape it into a thick log. Wrap it in parchment paper or plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or up to 2 days.
Using a sharp knife, slice the chocolate salami into ¼ or ½ inch thick slices. Transfer into aanair tight container and store it in the fridge. Tip: For the best texture, enjoy it cold, directly from the fridge.

Notes
Use Medjool dates for easier blending. To use Noor dates, place the pitted dates in a bowl, pour hot coconut oil over them, stir, cover the bowl, and let it stand for about an hour. Afterward, add all the ingredients, including cocoa powder, into the food processor, blend, and then mix with the nuts.Choose your preferred nut mix, or simply opt for raw almonds or cashews.
