Ingredients

For serving (optional)

  • Additional almond butter
  • Sliced almonds
  • Sliced bananas

Instructions

  • Add milk, almond butter, honey and cocoa powder into a mason jar (or any other container) and stir well, until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  • Stir in all remaining ingredients (oats, chia seeds, vanilla extract and salt). Cover and refrigerate overnight (or at least 6 hours).
  • To eat - Stir once, top with additional almond butter, sliced almonds and bananas. Enjoy!

Notes

Oats – Use only old fashioned oats.
Quick cooking oats results in a less creamy oatmeal, but reduce the milk by 1 to 2 tablespoons.
Steel cut oats results in a more chewier oatmeal. Make sure to increase milk by 2 tablespoons.
Instant oats is highly processed and hence not recommended in overnight oats recipes.
