Easter Nests

Chocolate Easter Nests are super easy to make with your kids for Easter or spring. They are no bake, cute, fun and delicious treats made using peanut butter cups with only 5 minutes if prep time.

Instructions

  • Add chocolate chips and coconut oil into a medium microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 60 to 90 seconds (stirring every 20 seconds) or until melted and smooth.
  • Stir in shredded coconut or until completely coated.
    Tip: Be gentle when stirring so that the coconut remains loose and not packed to create a beautiful nest.
  • Scoop 1 heaped tablespoon coconut mixture on top of each nut butter cup, shape with a spoon to form a round nest and place 3 candy eggs in the middle, pressing gently to adhere.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.

Notes

Use sweetened shredded coconut.
Coconut oil is optional.
Nut butter cups –Use store bought or homemade peanut butter cups, almond butter cups or sun butter cups.
Eggs – We used mini Speckled Chocolate Malt balls from Sprouts. Any mini egg shaped candy will just as fine.
