Ground Chicken and Green Beans Stir Fry

So simple yet so amazingly delicious honey soy chicken and green beans stir fry. Enjoy for dinner with white/brown rice or meal prep for the week. Even your picky eaters will gobble these green beans!

Chicken and green beans

  • 3-4 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
  • ½ to ¾ pound grean beans, cut into 2-inch
  • 1 medium red onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger
  • 1 pound ground chicken


Make sauce

  • Add all sauce ingredients together into a small bowl and stir well until honey is dissolved. Keep aside.

Make chicken and green beans stir fry

  • Heat a large skillet over high heat with one tablespoon vegetable oil. Add green beans and cook stirring occasionally, until green beans get dark spots and are cooked but firm. Transfer to a seperate bowl.
  • Into the same pan over high heat, add more vegetable oil and then chopped onion, garlic and ginger. Cook stirring for about 2 minutes, until it begins to get golden.
  • Stir in ground chicken, cook stirring every few minutes (trying to break the lumps), until chicken is cooked completely.
  • Add cooked green beans and sauce (stir before using), continue cooking until all liquid evaporates.
    Remove from heat and serve with Chinese fried rice / noodles / plain white rice / brown rice
