Ingredients

  • 1 can chicken stock (or use 1 ¾ cups) I used 33% low sodium chicken stock
  • ½ cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 2 ( 3 ounces ) package instant ramen noodles flavor packets discarded
  • 2 scallions, thinly sliced

Instructions

  • Add chicken stock, barbecue sauce and vegetable oil into a medium pan and mix.
  • Place pan over medium-high heat and let it come to a boil.
  • Add the ramen noodles and reduce the heat to medium. Cook until most of the liquid has evaporated and the noodles are tender, stirring every 2 minutes to break up the noodles and evenly coat them in the sauce.
  • Stir in chopped scallions and serve hot!

Notes

Chicken stock - I used 33% low sodium chicken stock.
Salt - The ramen noodles, bbq sauce and chicken stock has salt. So, the salt in the recipe depends on the type of bbq sauce and stock used. I recommend using 33% less sodium or low sodium stock.
