👩🍳 IMPORTANT TIP: Stick to the recommended pan size and ingredient measurements—changing them could cause the oatmeal to overflow or the liquid to evaporate too quickly, leaving you with a dry, less creamy texture.Refer to the notes for cooking one cup of oats!
Cook. Grease an 8-inch round cake pan with a little butter or oil. Add 1 ½ cups oats, 1 ½ cups milk, 1 ½ cups water, and ⅛ teaspoon salt, and give everything a quick stir to combine. Place the pan in the air fryer and cook at 300°F for 15 minutes. No need to stir while it cooks—the air fryer does all the work!
Rest. When the oatmeal is done, carefully remove the hot pan using oven mitts or kitchen towels and place it on a wire rack. Stir in some brown sugar and cinnamon to taste, then cover the pan with a plate and let it rest for 5 minutes. This gives the oats a little more time to soften and absorb the liquid, resulting in thicker, creamier oatmeal.
Serve. Top with fresh fruits and chopped nuts. Serve!
