Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rolled oats
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ¾ cup water
  • teaspoon salt

Addins

  • Brown sugar as needed
  • ground cinnamon as needed

Instructions

  • Grease a 6-inch round cake pan with non-stick spray.
  • Add oats, milk, water and salt into the pan and give a stir. Transfer the pan into the air fryer and cook at 300°F for 15 minutes. No need to stir!
  • When done, carefully remove the hot pan using kitchen towels or oven mitts, and place on a wire rack.
  • Stir in brown sugar and cinnamon as needed, cover the pan with a plate and let rest for 5 minutes. This helps the oats to soften further and thicken.
  • Top with fresh fruits and chopped nuts. Serve!

Notes

Use rolled or old fashioned oats.
Don’t forget salt! A pinch of salt enhances the flavor without making it bland.
I used Instant Vortex 6 quart air fryer for this recipe.
A 6-inch baking pan is perfect for cooking one cup of oats.
