This White Chocolate Bark is cute and unique, made with M&Ms and is nut-free. I’ve made it into individual-sized treats, making it the perfect edible gift for packaging and giving to friends and family. Recipe includes step-by-step photos!
Add the 11 ounces of white chocolate chips into a microwave bowl and microwave for 60 to 90 seconds, stirring every 30 seconds, until the chocolate is melted and is smooth. Tip: I used one 11-ounce bag of Ghiradelli white chocolate chips
Pour about 1 ½ tablespoons of melted chocolate into each cupcake liner. Gently tap the pan on the counter a few times to help the chocolate spread into an even layer. Refrigerate for at least an hour, or until set.
In the meantime, break each M&M candy into two halves.
Melt the remaining ¼ cup white chocolate chips in the microwave until melted.
To decorate, carefully remove the set white chocolate bark from the paper liner and place it on a flat surface. Use a toothpick to add a small amount of melted chocolate to the broken end of each M&M, then press it onto the bark. Repeat this process to create a decorative pattern as shown. Tip: Melted white chocolate tends to harden faster than dark chocolate! If this happens, simply pop it in the microwave for 5 to 10 seconds to melt it again during the process.
Lightly dust the finished bark with confectioners' sugar. It adds a festive touch and helps conceal any imperfections!
