Ingredients

Shrimp

  • 1 pound shrimp raw
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepepr
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Sauce

  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice (1 to 2 medium limes)
  • 1 to 2 garlic cloves grated
  • 2 teaspoons Sriracha sauce
  • Salt to taste

Toppings

  • 8 corn tortillas (6 inch)
  • 2 to 3 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 large avocado sliced
  • ½ small red onion thinly sliced
  • chopped cilantro
  • sliced jalapenos

Instructions

  • Pat shrimp dry with paper towels.

  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F for 8 minutes. When hot, place shrimp in a single layer and cook for 7 to 8 minutes or until cooked through and succulent.

Sauce

  • Mix all the sauce ingredients in a bowl, then taste and adjust the salt to your liking.

Assemble

  • Warm the tortillas on the stovetop, in a skillet, or in the microwave, then wrap them in a kitchen towel to keep them soft and warm.

Notes

Use medium or large size shrimp.
Grate garlic using a microplane.
Use red cabbage instead of white.
White or yellow corn tortillas are best for this recipe.
