Ingredients

Instructions

  • Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  • Brush the cut side of the peaches with some melted butter and grill cut-side down for 3 minutes, until char marks form.
  • In the mean time, combine brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  • Flip over, immediately sprinkle the brown sugar-cinnamon mixture, then grill for 2 to 4 minutes or until browned and tender and the sugar slightly melted.
👉 Closing the grill for a minute or two accelerates the melting of the sugar.
  • Make whipped cream: Beat 1 cup heavy cream (reserve remaining for serving), confectioners sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  • For serving, place a warm peach on a plate, drizzle with some of the reserved heavy cream, and top it off with a dollop of whipped cream.

Notes

Select perfectly ripe peaches, neither too firm nor too soft, is crucial.
Preheat and clean the grill grates before adding peaches.
Closing the grill for a minute or two accelerates the melting of the sugar.
