These Halloween Clementines are a fun, easy, no-bake treat that kids will love to make and eat! They’re creative, quick Halloween oranges, perfect for classroom parties or spooky snacks. Use clementines, mandarins, or cuties!
Prep oranges. Rinse the clementines and pat them completely dry with a clean kitchen towel. Remove any attached stems.
Melt chocolate. Microwave the chocolate chips, stirring every 15 seconds, until smooth. Transfer about 3 tablespoons of melted chocolate to a small bowl. Pour the remaining chocolate into a small piping bag or zip-top bag, then snip off a tiny corner.
Make eyes. Using a toothpick, dab a little melted chocolate onto the back of two candy eyeballs. Stick them onto each clementine to create the face. Refer to the photos or video for guidance if needed.
Make hats. Using the piping bag, squeeze about 1 teaspoon of melted chocolate into the center of an Oreo cookie. Gently place a Hershey’s Kiss on top and press lightly so the chocolate spreads around the edges, creating a decorative pattern.Squeeze a little more melted chocolate onto the stem end of each clementine. Place the Oreo hat on top and gently press to secure it.
Storage. Repeat with the remaining clementines. Let the chocolate set for at least 3 hours before serving. Store at room temperature for up to 1 day or in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
