Rice – Any cooked white rice that you have on hand will work. It will be great if rice is day-old. In fact, fried rice is usually a way to re-purpose leftover rice. You just don’t want hot rice.
Eggs – 2 large eggs
Scallion – I chopped scallions into 1-inch pieces, since it adds a nice finish and crunch to the rice. But, chop it smaller if you have any picky eaters at home.
Soy Sauce – Soy sauce for that umami and salt. Use as much as you like
Sesame oil – A bit of sesame oil goes a long way in adding nuttiness to 5 minute fried rice.
Cooking oil, pepper – As I had mentioned earlier, these two do not count as ingredients. Thai Chicken Fried RiceCooking oil, pepper – As I had mentioned earlier, these two do not count as ingredients.
