Tips and tricks on making a flourless brownie recipe:
Almond flour: Almond flour is ground blanched almonds and is easily available in all grocery stores and Amazon. Like for all almond flour dessert recipes, you want to look for super fine variety.
4 Ingredient, Gluten Free, Fudgy Nutella Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 cup Nutella
- ½ cup almond flour, super fine variety
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 eggs, large
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray and then line the bottom and sides with parchment paper. Set aside.
- Add all ingredients into a medium bowl. Using a wooden spatula or a big spoon, stir all ingredients together, until it becomes a thick, smooth batter. (this is probably the difficult part of the recipe due to the thickness of Nutella, but it takes just a few seconds to come together)
- Transfer batter into the prepared loaf pan, spread evenly and smooth top.
- Bake in the middle of the oven for 30-35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes with no wet batter. It will mostly have some moist crumbs attached and that's perfect (Don't bake any longer).
- Place pan on a wire rack to cool completely.
- Lift brownie out of pan, using the parchment paper and cut into 8 squares.

Oh my gosh! These are really tempting me right now--I'm actually glad I don't have Nutella in the house because I have everything else and I know I'd eat the whole batch if I made them 🙂

This looks (and sounds) SOOOO good! I’m thinking of making these for Thanksgiving - future dil is gluten free - and I’m wondering: can u use another gf flour? I have a bag of tapioca starch and a bag of coconut flour. Will either of these work? What other flour can be subbed for almond? Any?? Thanks for your fun and funny blog AND recipes.
Maria Doss
Honestly, I have never tried this recipe with any other flour, but I have heard coconut flour might work, but I'm sorry that it might take a few trys to get it right! Apologies for not being of much help.
Izabella
It looks amazing! I’m going to make it just in time for Christmas. Could you tell me how many grams is a cup? Please
Maria Doss
I'm sorry Izabella, I did not understand your question. One cup of what?
Izabella
1 cup of Nutella
1/2 cup of Almond Flour
Please could you convert that to grams 🙏🏻
It’s much easier for me
Thank you so much
Maria Doss
1 cup of Nutella = 300 grams
1/2 cup almond flour = 64 grams
Hope it helps:)
Sara
These look so yummy! I’m wondering if I can use a low carb ‘Nutella’ for this which would mainly be nut butter, with some cocoa powder and sweetener rather than Nutella with its palm oil and sugar?
Also can I just omit the extra cocoa powder, i think the Nutella is chocolatey enough?
Maria Doss
Hi Sara,
With regards to omitting cocoa powder - The quantity of Nutella used does not offer enough chocolatey flavor, so the addition of cocoa powder is a must and it also balances the sweetness.
With regards to low carb Nutella, it will definitely affect the texture and flavor. So, the recipe might need some tweaking, Maria
Vasu
Tried this recipe.. My brownies puffed up in the middle like a muffin 🙁 Any idea what I did wrong?
Maria Doss
Hi Vasu, My guess is that you incorporated air while mixing the batter. Did you use a blender or mixed it for a longer time? - Maria
