Cheeses – I opted to go with brie, gouda and aged cheddar just like the Starbucks Cheese and Fruit Protein Box. Use your favorite kind of cheese variety.
Fruits – Grapes, apples, pears, orange segments, cuties, berries, figs are all great options
Crackers – Whole wheat, whole grain, 9-grain, super seed, multi-grain crackers are all fabulous options
Nuts – Almonds, cashews, pistachios, walnuts, toasted pecans, peanuts will be great
Dried fruits – Dried cranberries, raisins, apricots, dried figs, dates can be used
Hope you are liking all the meal prep ideas as much as I do.
Tips for perfect cheese plate snack box:
- Cut pear (or apple, if using) just before eating (Here is an interesting read on how to prevent a cut apple/pear from browning)
- Keep cheese seperate from the fruit and crackers
- Store in the refrigerator for not more than 4 days.
