    Ingredients

    • 3 lbs sweet potatoes
    • 6 tablespoon unsalted butter sliced
    • 1 teaspoon salt or to taste
    • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
    • ½ cup whole milk warmed
    • ¼ cup packed brown sugar

    • Spray the inside of a slow cooker with cooking spray.
    • Wash and peel the sweet potatoes, cut into thick slices and add into the slow cooker.
